White Hydrangea
Hydrangeas are very popular both as cut flowers and plants for the garden because of their big, beautiful blooms. In Japan, they are said to be a sign of apology or gratitude because an emperor gave them as apologies to his maidens. The white Hydrangea flower is a symbol of purity, innocence and abundance. This flower can also symbolize bragging about wealth or boasting. Ordered flowers for someone’s 90th. There was supposed to be a balloon. She was thrilled with them. When I asked if there was a Happy Birthday balloon, she said no, but they’d sent her a stuffed animal. Made her feel like a child again. She was happy so I was happy.
