White Hydrangea
Hydrangeas are very popular both as cut flowers and plants for the garden because of their big, beautiful blooms. The name comes from the constant moisture required to keep the flowers happy, healthy and blooming. In Japan, they are said to be a sign of apology or gratitude because an emperor gave them as apologies to his maidens. The white Hydrangea flower is a symbol of purity, innocence and abundance. This flower can also symbolize bragging about wealth or boasting. Be careful not to send someone the wrong message with this flower colour, since these two meanings highly depend on the person you are sending it to.

I highly recommend Canada Flowers. I send my Aunt, who is in a retirement home, a few bouquets each year. I ordered the flowers online, and it was a seamless experience from start to finish. I even did the *add on* with a box of chocolates...I got a call on the morning of the date of delivery from our local Flower Shop, and they made the delivery, plus the Flowers were beautiful, exactly what I ordered! Great service, Mother's Day during a pandemic meant that shipping was my only real option. Arrived on time and beautifully done and as an added bonus I joked "watch out for bees" on the card - and the florist included little fake bees hidden in the bouquet.
